"We want it to be game-like," coach says of practice. "Even when we do routes on air periods and we're trying to get five catches with five quarter batch throw-in, we're still going to have coaches play the role of a linebacker or a corner or a safety so that they can provide reads" Coach: We break up our team and team scout periods just like a game in order to make things more game-like. The blitz pickup period simulates adjustments for us on the sideline where we can go in and work on stuff before even watching film.
