The Importance of Mulching in the Garden

I start with the soil like everybody. The soil is your most important asset in the garden and you need to look after it. I've been using quite a lot of strouch the mineralised straw stuff to suppress the weeds and slugsHopefully they're all coming back one rainfall at a time so that seems to be good. Water butts everywhere diverts off your down pipes not actually and the other thing is not letting your surface water go off into the drains because that's what causes flooding in extreme weather events. And we have to think about a particularly new housing greywater capture and use of grey water in the gardens for non-edibles rather than seeing it disappeared down the drain
