The Flood and the Tower
When i first started studying egyptology, i knew i wanted to do egyptology. One of the things i study is our people's identity,. who they are, who they think they are. Once i realize that i can be a believer and study eEgyptology, i felt a freedom i had never felt before. I feel like i see the the flood and the tower just in a new light. They have given me an enhanced understanding. Part of this too, i think, is you have to be ok with not knowing things. The more i study, whether it's theology, religion or egyptiology, the more i realize i don't know very much.
