Schopenhauer's Love

Schopenhauer was a huge fan of love, despite not having much of it himself throughout his life. He wanted us to realize that the process of falling in love and being a happy person are completely separate from each other. And try to understand love for what it truly is. It's a tool. It's an extreme feeling that is needed to temporarily convince perfectly rational beings to do the most irrational thing they could ever do in their lives.
