I don't think anyone really wants a ban except maybe Mark Zuckerberg, but he can be in his own little world there. The Chinese government could try to prevent that through tweaking its export laws or saying by dance doesn't have sufficient licensing for the algorithm. There also aren't that many companies with enough cash to buy TikTok and the ones who do have enough cash to buying TikTok might have an antitrust problem if they tried. So it's going to be complicated, but I don’t think anyone want a ban here.
