You write about a period in time that you refer to as la quarendera. When we were going through all this, italy had actually already started. And i wasn't aware enough of what was going on. I was really too wrapped up in my grief and with losing my sister. So the idea of the forty days is just something that, it just sort of touched me really,. especially when italy passed.
