Gold is a speculative asset. There's no intrinsic value to gold, but that doesn't mean you won't be able to sell it tomorrow for the same price. The art market sentiment is sky high at the moment. This is driven by low interest rates, stock market wealth effect and inflationry monetary policy. And now crypto wealth that needs to be parked some so pretty much everything we just described. People want to put money somewhere else.
