Chris: There's something about the world being perceived and having been run through our analytical filters that might just be as simple as your individual perspective. The McGill Chris model is that what he always says is that the idea that the two sides of the brain do different things is wrong. But the idea that they do them in different ways is right. And we break the world up in such a way that we can manipulate it. That's given us the power to create space shuttles, but also made us lose a sense of the primacy of that view.
