On the surface, salary negotiation seems like it's just a numbers game. But there are so many factors that impact how we show up to that conversation. When I talk to job seekers, probably 95, 98% of the time is confidence or lack of confidence. People connect money to their worth and worth X amount of dollars but not Y amount of dollars. It can be difficult to move past that.
