The couple now live off their investments alone, pulling out a 4% a year to cover all of their expenses. They still continue to carefully budget their income and keep a close eye on what they are spending each month. Once this house build and house sale is done, I asked if they will be done with debt. While she said never say never, they don't anticipate borrowing again. Instead, they plan on reaching a point where they can live a fantastic life and can also be generous with their time and their money with those they love.
