The Merciful Way I Tried to Save Gabby
He tried desperately to carry her to safety, but he just couldn't do it. She died of manual strangulation and blunt force trauma to the head and neck. He never explains in the letter how he killed her. I thought it was a merciful thing to do. Hannah: If Brian had to keep waking up for fear she would die then why did he not just let her go out like that? That makes no sense.
