Elizabeth holmes was the chief executive officer of a health technology company. She claimed to have revolutionized blood testing by developing methods that could use very small volumes of blood, just a finger prick worth of blood. A jury convicted her on three counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud for lying to investors.
