I think it really is valuable for them to hear real life experiences of polyglots or multilinguals and see especially in an environment like Switzerland which has four official languages. I think that actually when I think about multilingualism and if we break it down into autonomy, competence and relatedness as motivation that competence piece goes up. If we can instill in the learners that when you bring some of your Italian or you bringing some of your Catalan into my class, well actually it sounds really cool I like it right? It's great that you do that their competence goes up.
