I was wondering if you could talk about writing about that and how you kind of navigate those allerities I suppose. Yeah on the left there's been much discussion over the past 20 years about catastrophism right the idea that presenting certain scientific facts about the ecological situation might be so depressing and debilitating that people will not take action as a result like it's a kind of fatalism. But I kind of take issue with that in the book because I think looking at some recent environmentalist documentaries in particular what you see is a reaction in the opposite directionSo they've sort of over corrected to the extent that you are understating the nature of the situation.
