Are We Breaking the Supply Chain?
We've allowed companies to become huge and exert more power over economy than is healthy. We've also deregulated a lot of things, right? Not just in terms of mergers and acquisitions, but we've allowed working standards to come down. And so it's a lot of these decisions that have come together to create the incredibly brittle system that we have today. That's not a pandemic problem. I think it's just being exposed by the fact that we're going through this rapid shift in demand.
