The Structure of Consciousness
The structure of our consciousness seems to be quite simple, although color is still very complex. But whereas if they're constituted by trillions and trillions of conscious particles, and they think they'd be very, very busy, that is a deep difficulty. Some people are like Daniel Stolger or Tom McClelland who say there's some other mysterious stuff we don't know anything about it. If you go for these strongly emergent properties, then they ought to show up in science, they ought to make a difference.
