The Social Illusions Are Not Always Severe
The consequences of these social illusions are not always serious. Sometimes they can be funny. And i think it's, again, because we aren't explicit each other about what we want. We rely on a lot of implicit cues. That's how a lot of social life and a lot conversation operates. I feel like thi speaks to the gap between how we think a conversation is going and what we think the other person thinks about the conversation exactly.
