There's kind of this entrenched nuclear bureaucracy that's attached to the military. We keep having these weapons, even though we don't necessarily need them. How do politicians fight back against this and when? A great question. The answer I have right now is that the US should conclude because of Russia's invasion of Ukraine,. As well as the system China has made to greatly increase its nuclear stockpile - not done for decades.
