The Jackson Five made their first appearance on national television in the fall of 1969. The group debuted their first single, I Want You Back, on an episode of The Hollywood Palace. After that, it was on to the Ed Sullivan Show, which typically drew more than 10 million viewers. "Ain't nobody that can be that young and that good," says Sammy Davis Jr.
