The Biden Administration's Decision to Call Niger a Coup
Niger has huge stocks of uranium. It was a win-win for Bashar al-Assad because ISIS would kicked out of some part of the country, but also a huge boon for Wagner economically. I don't think we should be giving military assistance to army's carryout coups. That sends kind of the worst possible message. But at the end of the day, you've got to stand for something. And a coup like this is not a close call.
