Glucose and Appetite Hormones

There is this clever wiring system in our brain that tells us when and when we shouldn't eat every day. In a modern day environment there's all those favorite foods that release all those feel good chemicals which makes it very hard to say no. The hedonic or reward pathway keeps overriding the homeostatic regulation of our body weight. We've also got appetite hormones, adrenal glands pumping out more cortisol you've also got your body shifting from burning fat at rest to predominantly carbohydrate at rest again in order to burn less calories etc etc so what we're up against is our body physiological response or weight loss process.
