The Saturn 1997 marketing calendar lists Coke and NASCAR slash Daytona. Sonic which historically famously did not come out on the Saturn right they must have had plans for it at some point yeah. KFC slash bug bug bug bug, Fox TV Taco Bell Macy's day balloon and then KFC slashbug bug bug. The company was ahead of the game in some ways but then hopelessly behind the times in other ways like what first off you're saying they were committing more to 2d and kind of throwing I was like oh yeah we should have some 3d hardware in here as well.
