How Much Blood Do You Have in Your Body?

It's the platelets that are making it so that we don't just keep bleeding when we get a cut. Those platelets kind of come together and fuse together to make a scab, right? And so we see the scab on our body and then over time that heals and new skin is formed. The amount of blood you have in your body depends on how big you are. So if you weigh about 50 pounds, which is about 23 kilograms, you have about one and a half liters of blood. If you know how big a can of soda is, that's about five cans of soda.
