Is There a Need to Show Hacky Stick Growth?
There's an expectation that founders have to show hockystick growth. But in many cases, that's a projection, right? It's an aspiration. You can't claim its reality if it hasn't happened. I think investors put a lot of pressure on antrpeners to prove theyre going to be the next game changing start up. And i think that that sometimes leads ontre penurs to cut corners. Grant hopes there's a bigger take away too. The right lesson is to say we actually need more founders who are working on solving meaningful problems, not just building cute aps.
