A jury is trying to determine whether this man they know as B.F. Perry was murdered or killed by accident. Holmes decided because people knew that like he was using that alias, so it was getting around people back home. He convinced Carrie Picell to send her teenage daughter in place of the real Benjamin Picell and claim $10,000 from his insurance policy. But after a little bit of a delay, Holmes did get in touch with Fidelity Mutual Insurance but still didn't have enough information for them to pay him out.
