The Problem With Voluntary Taxes

Do we really want to live in a world where all decisions are consensus voluntary? I had a Mark O'Baron, I guess, he was arguing that it can happen with voluntary taxes. In Denmark, for example, when you pay tax in Denmark, you can cross off which sections you don't want your tax dollars to go to.
