The Predictive Nature of the Mind

I've read a lot about the predictive nature of our brain. A lot of resources are put into just predicting, you know, what's going to happen next so that we can live in maybe a more comfortable, less uncertain world. And I wrote an article with the 80s which went into the book, blastru our formula and it was a car drove past me one day slowly down a high street and Sunday it swerved off onto the pavement. When I looked, the front wheel had sort of come away from its bearings and turned at right angles. You know, it's just the metal had broken. He said, Oh my God, I've just been driving at 70 miles now
