Nietzsche's Democritus
Democritus was considered by Nietzsche to be one of the most important philosophers of the ancient world. He tried to provide a description of the movement of all things in the universe by means of appealing to as few principles as possible, and there's no supernatural exceptions. All his followers were transfixed by the siren song of his teachings.
