The History of the Baines

David, Arawa, Laniette and Stephen Bain were born two years apart. The first of the two children were born in Dunedin and the second pair would be born in Papua New Guinea. Robin worked as a teacher as part of his missionary work but stayed at home with their youngest daughter Len Yett. He slept in a caravan in the front garden of the Bain house on every street. They all attended Bayfield High School in Anderson's Bay called Andes Bay.
