Is the Family the Building Block of Society?
The family is the basic building block of society, right? I actually think that can be really misleading in a modern society. What i mean is, a family can live off by itself, like little house on the prairie, and not really be a means by which an individual interfaces with society. In modern cities, actually, if you think of liking a modern city in the united states, the family doesn't really serve that role. It doesn'treally serve as as a sort of port that i can jack into to plug into the broader society.
