The Red Cross and the Depression in the 1930s

On much of the great plains experienced severe drought during the 19 thirties. Droughts made their way into the midwest in 19 34 and 19 36. In areas where people owned their own land, things were not usually this dire. But that wasn't true if the weather didn't co operate.
