The Effect of FAD on Magnetic Field Sensitivity

Unlike cryptochrome, FAD is a common molecule found in pretty much all cells and throughout the animal kingdom. This suggests not just a greater sensitivity between species, but a sensitivity really of magnetic fields spread throughout all types of cells. Does this mean then that there are far more species out there than we realise that are sensitive to the magnetic field, including us?
