I don't think so because that would be a lower than 12 megapixels. And of course, it isn't actually changing the focal length. It's just zoomed in. So cropping wouldn't do it for me, unfortunately. But I'm sure, you know, a lot of people will be very happy to have double the zoom. Apple was that like a one year place right where they had it for both models matched up and other like nope. Now you must go big or you got to go home.
