Right has had a burn it all down, destroy the government mentality for quite a while now. So there's no pressure on them to legislate and build something that's not what their base ultimately wants. With or without him, that seems to be the continued direction that the Republican Party is going to go to. And I don't think there's much hope that that's going to change in the near future.
