The Difference Between Electric Potential and Electric Potential
A volt is just equal to one joule per coulomb. This is a measure of electric potential. If something has a high voltage it basically means there's a lot of energy for each unit of charge there. The total amount of energy that is going to affect heart rhythms and other things like that. You need to know both the voltage and the total amount of charge or as we'll talk about later at the current.
