The Effects of Reprogramming on Parkinson's Disease

In the model that you're using, one aspect of Parkinson's disease that it recapitulates is that the mice have these motor deficits. They have trouble using their limbs. And a really interesting way that you study this is to only kill the neurons in half of the substantia nigra. You can then do behavioral assays to determine whether the mice are able to regain normal function. If this is eventually work out in humans, it's really, really good news to the patient.
