Grief Isn't a Problem in Therapy, but It's Complicated
Grief that you see in the therapy office is usually complicated by distorted thoughts. If a person has no cognitive distortions and they're flooded with emotion, then those emotions are healthy. Great sadness is a part of life and it's a beautiful thing in a way that shows that we can love.
