The Future of the Fed's Balance Sheet
Banks might not be as big a purchaser for treasuries as they were before. The amount of outside money within the system has grown and the reach of the Fed through which it can deploy this outside money to fix emerging problems in the system has also grown. As that starts tapering off, what we might see is well, we'll see financial conditions tighten with things get a little bit more tough in peripheral markets.
