COVID-19 Flexibilities and Liability Protections for Pharmacy Employees
The healthcare industry could face a significant shortage of nursing professionals over the next five years. Nearly 100,000 registered nurses left the field during the COVID-19 pandemic and around 800,000 nurses reported they intend to leave by 2027. 62% of survey respondents reported an increased workload during the pandemic. More than 50% reported feeling emotionally drained and 45% reported feeling burned out.
