The Freemasons' PR Campaign for the Panama Canal

La Boule and Bartoldi did a really great PR campaign though, because they went right to the press first. They were getting mentions all over the country. The Freemasons got on board. Magazines began printing illustrations of the finished project. Maybe it's just not the Americans that don't have imagination.
