CNN's John Sutter takes a look at whether book banning is the political winner it seems to be. The majority of Republican respondents said that there is a time and place for public school classrooms or school libraries to ban books, but other segments of the American public are not so hot on it. Only 26% of Republicans say no when asked if they would allow children to read anti-police messages in their schools. 48% of people who think racial slurs should be banned also support this kind of censorship.
