Is BNP a Predictive Value for Heart Failure?
A floridly positive BNP value is a real concern for real heart failure and real dysfunction. Some labor floors do have telemetry monitoring capabilities. If putting her on telemetry means doing a vaginal delivery in a surgical ICU that's suboptimal, then don't do it. Do it on your labor floor and bring a transport monitor when you're concerned.
