In the first chapter, we sort of go through the problems with theoretical and practical reason. So what is it that generates these conditions that allow us to claim things are true at any moment in history for the theoretical reason? Or like, where do social values come from? This gets back to on the questions that you were bringing up about sort of like, where is that mediation between these two levels? How are we supposed to respond to questions like that?
