The energy of this card is telling me that this is, i to a degree, a self imposed fear, hardship, feelings of being lost. The thing that i always ind very curious from like a an academic perspective, when i look at this card is, one, trapped by what? And two, how long have they been there? Right? I want to step into this image and say, free yourself, woman. Your feet are not bound. You can walk or uum. She's like having an experience here."
The 8 of Swords appears when we WANT to do something, but sh*t keeps getting in our way. In this card we can see that the person in the image has forgotten her power, it’s almost like she believes so strongly that she is a prisoner that she no longer even tries to escape. When this card comes up, the rut you’re in usually has more to do with old habits and patterns than it does with current external circumstances - though it might not be an easy fix, there IS a way to free yourself.
