How to Get More UXers Into a Project

In any team, if there's one person who does interaction design, that's the UXer and that project. If we could spit it out a bit and realize that maybe we need four UXers to every five developers, then maybe we could get some. I'm not trying to make the other ones less worthy, but I'm just trying to get across the notion that if we get more UXers into the project...then that helps us reach our goals faster.
