What Are Your Thoughts on Parallel Speaking?

i would like to get your thoughts on this. It's sometimes referredo as a shadowing technique, where you basically repeat what the speaker says. And i've mentioned before how podgasts are useful for this because people can listen to a podgast and basically repeat what they're saying. I think it's really useful because, first of all, it gives you the speed. Secondly, it give you the intonation to try to hide in. Thirdly, it gives o the fact that the energy is shifting. Some syllables have a lot of energy, and some syllables have very little. So that energy distribution, which is part of english stress is also made manifest
