The Beauty of Form and Boundedness
The beautiful in nature concerns the form of the object, which consists in the objects being bounded. The spline can also be found in a formless object. And so far as we present unboundedness either as in the object or because the object prompts us to present it, while yet we add to this unboundedness the thought of its totality. So it seems that we regard the beautiful as the exhibition of an indeterminate concept of the understanding and spline.
