The Problem With the Housing Authority
There's a story in Washington, DC to attempt to address the homeless problem city officials have decided to move homeless people into an affluent section of Washington's Sedgwick Gardens. And it's having the effect that you can imagine they're getting pooping in the hallway and people are starting to move out this sort of thing. I think in both of these instances, well, all three of them San Francisco, Portland and now SedGwick Gardens, the problem, it's not the homeless. It's not the mentally ill. It's the fact that we're just bringing the wrong tools to bear.
