How to Build Empathy in a Christian Circle

There's a lot of conversation around how do we try to in a Christian circle? We talk about how do we share love and understanding and and listen to people who don't agree with us. I'm running across people recently that didn't realize there's a mask mandate on It's been on for months now But they didn't know it because they got so tired of the negative side of news  that they just stopped listening to any and all news.
