The Cost of Partnerships
The vast majority of our business is built on partnerships with larger companies who actually have a lot of money right. So me partnering with a company recommending them and us getting a cut if that person signs up doing speaking opportunities at corporations. Almost 50% of our revenue came from one particular partner and we got some feedback from our community that was pretty alarming in terms of how their customer service was treating them. We chose to end that partnership at a severe cost to our business so overnight in February and March we've lost 50 per cent of our revenue. However again the things you don't think about as a business owner is we're hiring because we're growing but we will be fine.
